Sanchez started her career as a news anchor and reporter, working for various television stations, including KCOP-TV in Los Angeles, California. She also worked as a host and correspondent for entertainment programs like "Extra," "The View," and "Good Day LA."

In addition to her work in broadcasting, Sanchez is also a licensed helicopter pilot and has worked as a helicopter pilot and reporter for KCBS-TV and KCAL-TV in Los Angeles. She has also worked as a stunt pilot in films such as "Fight Club" and "The Island."
